We accept ARCs (advance review copies) from authors, publishers, agents and publicists. All reviews are posted here on NovelEditions.com, and selectively will be posted on the product page at Amazon. We give honest reviews, but our philosophy is that reading is subjective. If a book has been evaluated, accepted and published by a legitimate publisher, then someone found merit in it. We respect that. While we may not like every book we review, we will never “trash” a book. Reviews are posted at the sole discretion of Novel Edition’s owner and Board, and therefore, if we find we just cannot find anything good to say about a book, the review simply will not be featured. Please understand, though, that just because your book isn’t featured, doesn’t mean we didn’t like it. We are working with a limited number of reviewers. Unfortunately, we won’t have time to review every single submission we receive. What does this mean? It just means that your submission blurb has to grab us–make us want to choose the book. We accept books from both well-established traditional and large publishers, as well as small and/or new publishers. All submissions must be in electronic format. This saves both transit time as well as distribution time, money and, yes, the environment. We review fiction and non-fiction that is rated G/PG, regardless of genre. Please do not send us anything that would not fall into this category. If you’re not sure whether your book fits these guidelines, visit this link to the Motion Picture Association of America website for a definition. Please note, however, that this is a basic guideline to help draw a line. We reserve the right to review only the books we so choose. Just because a book falls under the MPAA’s G/PG rating, does not guarantee its review.
